hoho chocolate
Holiday chocolates are one of the most common gifts of the season — yet most come overpackaged, quickly tossed, and contribute to the 25% surge in waste between Thanksgiving and New Year’s in the U.S.
HoHo Chocolate combines thoughtful design and sustainability by packaging its chocolate truffles in recycled paper that doubles as an ornament, extending its use as a decoration rather than a single-use package.
Inspired by the Cantonese word for cocoa bean: “可可豆” [ho2 ho2 dau6], “HoHo” reflects the brand’s commitment to sourcing fair-trade cacao beans while capturing the iconic cheer of the holidays. Each of the three flavors are infused with seasonal Chinese teas — Chrysanthemum, Oolong, and Pu’er — paired with an animal that personifies its flavor profile.
